I have a F4210 with TOS Version 4.1.18 installed. I purchased an APC Back-UPS 700 and plugged the USB cable into one of the rear NAS USB ports.

When I go to Control Panel > General Settings > Hardware & Power > UPS in UPS Information I get "UPS is not connected".

Is there any operation I missed?

you are quite a few versions behind the current one, so no doubt the response will be to get the unit upgraded to 4.1.31 and see what happens then

I just did it, still the same behavior

After a complete power cycle of both TNAS and UPS and a plug-out/in of the USB cable, the UPS is finally detected.

Problem solved after TOS upgrade!
