Hey all, first one I imagine is very simple, and I'm pretty sure I know the answer.
1. Are shared folder's names not allowed to have spaces? I am coming form Synology and it does allow spaces, but in TOS6 it red's out the field when i try to put spaces and won't hit next. I am imagining the answer is no on this?
2. Is it possible to change the "Volume X" label. I had initially created a volume with some drives I had intended for another Terramaster that was delayed in shipping, this was auto-labelled as "Volume 2". I pulled those drives and replaced with the drives actually intended for this particular NAS, and it auto-labelled it "Volume 3". I was curious if this could be changed without a full reinstall of TOS? FWIW I have TOS installed on an NVME SSD. The volume for that is volume 1, etc.
Edit:
3. I am wanting to setup a monthly S.M.A.R.T. task, however the option at the bottom (Repeat Interval) seems unintuitive? What is this option/field for and how does it differ from the Execution Cycle option?

Re: [Help] Shared folder and volume questions...
1.The name of a shared folder must not contain spaces and the following special characters: $ % & ‘ ( ) + , / : ; < = > ? @ [ ] \ ^ ` { } | ~, but hyphens ( - ) and underscores ( _ ) are allowed.Hrimnir wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025, 15:58 Hey all, first one I imagine is very simple, and I'm pretty sure I know the answer.

2.Currently, modifying the volume name is not supported.
3. You can understand it as executing a task at some point on a certain day, once every few hours.

Perfect, thank you! Just a couple followups. Is being able to change volume name and allowing spaces in shared folder naming something you guys are looking at adding at some point? Obviously stuff like that will be low on the list in lieu of bug fixes, etc, but i was curious if it was something you were open to changing
