I installed TOS6.0.750 and tried to change the network interface MTU value to 4088.
But somehow the WebGUI got stuck and I can only reboot (switch off or reboot through SSH Shell) to access the webgui.
It works from the iOS app but not from the
browser. After the reboot the MTU value is still at 1500. Also the write speed is very bad.
I have four 20TB Seagate Exos in the NAS (F4-424 Pro). Read is about 150-170MB/s with some passages where it
drops to 80MB/s. Write speeds are around 80MB/s. I have the same disks in my old Synology 1918+ and there it
saturates 2.5Gb interface for write and read speed. Same network. So I doubt there are cable problems or something with the switch.

Before upgrading to TOS6.0.750, was the speed the same?
You can try replacing the Category 6 network cable and switch interface for testing.

I have a tested installation in my facility. No problems with the other hardware (Synology NAS or Servers).
It has nothing to do with cables or switches. Might be the Terra-Master NAS does not fit in that environment.
