M2 SSD

Post by sianderson »

Hi,

just prepping for the arrival of the F2-424

is there any reason why it cant just operate on a single M2 NVME SSD, i.e no actual hard drives in the bays? will that just work as normal?

This is possible. When initializing with only one M.2 SSD, it will be formatted into corresponding partitions and have the system installed, just like an HDD. Even without an HDD, the system can still run.
