D5-300C fan replacement with Noctua fans

Post by GreuDeFumat »

Helo all,

i've recently swapped the stock fans of my D5-300C with some Noctua fans. Very quite operation now.

You can read all about the replacement in the post i've made on the subreddit /r/Terramaster
https://www.reddit.com/r/TerraMaster/co ... are_button

Thanks and good luck!

Thanks for the post. Interesting to see 3 pin fans on the D5, while (most?) Tnas models have the similar 4-pin connector.

Thank you for your reply!
The swap was easy, but i was reluctant starting it, because i didn't know the pinout and i didn't have a multimeter until recently.
There might be others not having a multimeter, so i thought instead of them buying a multimeter, at least are aware of the pinout and they have a starting point :)
