Mixing SSD and HDD

I've just bought a D5-Thunderbolt 3 DAS and have 4 x Seagate Ironwolf 6TB to install.

Is it possible to add an SSD as the 5th drive ? I'd probably use it for speed/scratch disk for editing, and keep the 4 HDD as a RAID 0 or 10 - is it possible to mix them ? Or for the SSD to be used as a caching drive ?

I have just added a 500Gb SSD to the 5th slot. To set it as ssd cache must now go to other volumes, click edit and set ssd cache?
I have some data on them which I won't lost...
Thank you

My ssd is new. It can be formatted. My concern is if the hard drive with data is also formatted.

Hi, everybody.
D5 Thunderbolt 3 do not support SSD Cache.
