[Help] New f2-424 won't boot up

Post by LycraLout »

Hi

I've just received a new F2-424. When I power up I get the UEFI screen briefly, then it goes to the init boot screen but then does nothing. I have tried with and without a HDD in place and get the same result.

Do I need to go through the steps in viewtopic.php?t=6433 ?

I'm reasonably good with tech but only have experience in Windows. So you may need to speak / explain to me like I'm 5yrs old ;)

Managed to get it working. I was attempting to use the NAS like a PC, with the HDMI going to a screen. But I then installed the TNAS PC application on my laptop, accepted all the firewall prompts and my NAS was discovered by the app. I was then able to initialize the device and get it working just by following the prompts.
