webcam
Re: webcam
Based on the available information, I am unable to fully understand your question. Could you please provide the models of the printer and camera?

Re: webcam
you might want to look at the video surveilance app, but im not sure thats really what you after
ive looked at the octoprint webpage so think i understand what you are after, so i assume you want to plug a USB web cam into a USB port on the NAS drive, run some software with will then give you a URL feed to view that camera from anywhere on the network / routed through the internet to view the feed
a bit like you could with windows media player if you enabled streaming services on a windows PC, so i guess one option is to run a windows VM and do this, but there has to be a better way i guess

Re: webcam
For latest TOS6, you can use https://tmnascommunity.eu/download/surveillancemotion/ together with https://tmnascommunity.eu/download/webcamdrivers/
Re: webcam
Thank you for your help. I have the surfveillancemotion running with the webcam driver. I am able to connect the camera but no image is displayed! I was thinking ffmpg was out of date maybe.
