Plex issues

Post by jessicahebert »

Hello,
I have an F4-220 running TOS 4.2.44. After installing the Plex server, no icon appears. When I try to start it from the applications menu, it enters a configuring state, then reports that the operation was successful but reverts to a stopped status.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled using the .tpk file recommended for TOS 4 on the Plex website.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or how to resolve this issue.

It’s frustrating because I had an older version of Plex running on a previous version of TOS 4, and it worked perfectly. However, my TV prompted me to update to the newer version.

Is there a solution for this?

The update may have failed due to outdated cache. Please clear your browser cache and try downloading again.

There might be compatibility issues between old and new versions. Try deleting /User/plex, then start the app to regenerate the configuration file.

It's possible that the volume capacity is insufficient. You can try moving or deleting some files appropriately.

A filesystem error might be causing the issue. Please check and repair potential errors:
