[Help]

Post by YAYEST »

My UPS is a CPS UT850EG model. The model of my NAS is F4-423 TOS 6.0.648. The UPS is displayed in the system for no more than a day, but after that time it simply disappears from the system and information appears that it has been turned off. If I just pull out the USB cable and plug it back in, the system recognizes my UPS again, but soon it disappears again. I look forward to solving this problem with new updates every time, but there is still no solution. When I installed xpenology on my NAS, my CPS UT 85EG UPS was working without problems. Could you please help me solve this problem?

That reads like the USB port to which it's connected on the TNAS might be failing.

Try using another port to see if it exhibits the same issue, to eliminate the physical connection being the problem.

As I wrote, when I use a different operating system (xpenology), on the same NAS, everything works stably.

After all, UPS works in my TOS 6. It works for 24 hours, then the connection is lost.

Well, I'm sorry to say that I'm still having some issues with the lack of communication from the UPS (uninterruptible power supply) with my terramaster server. I recently purchased a new Powercom WOW-850U model, specifically checking the supported UPS systems list on the official website, but the problem still persists.

After switching on, at first glance, everything works fine when connected via USB. However, after a while, the terramaster TOS 6 starts losing connection to the UPS and keeps notifying me that the NAS device is disconnected from the UPS. It goes on endlessly, and I do not know what to do.

Can you please help me understand what could be causing this issue? I've checked all the settings and connections multiple times, but still no luck. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!

Interesting. Seems like anyone reporting a problem with Powercom+Tnas is apparently working out of Russia.
