Hi dear community!
An hour ago I managed to make my disks going to sleep after 30" of inactivity.
Yet, the fan keeps working, although the disks have already reached the ambient temperature of 22 Celsius / 72 Fahrenheit.
I am new to this device - is this the expected behavior?
I´d like to have fans stopped, unless the device is too warm.
D5 Bios: V1.16 (current)
There are currently 2 Disks installed, both on the compatibility list.
All drawers are properly fitted.
The computer is macbook pro m1 max.
The original Thunderbolt cable is in use.

[Help] fan never stops (D5 Thunderbolt 3)
Re: [Help] fan never stops (D5 Thunderbolt 3)
D5 Thunderbolt 3 itself does not enter sleep mode with macOS; its fan will continue to operate.

Re: [Help] fan never stops (D5 Thunderbolt 3)
Many thank for the clear answer.
Then, the D5 doesn't go into sleep mode even when my MAC itself is turned off or when the TB3 cable is unplugged.
This is probably working as expected as well?

Juraj
