Hey!
Just wondering if anyone is running the btrfs scrub commands and if you have had corruptions and successfully recovered.
I notice Synology has it built in, was hoping there was something similar in TOS6 considering its using BTRFS.
Regards, Riff.
BTRFS Scrubbing & TOS6
Re: BTRFS Scrubbing & TOS6
Ie - run btrfs scrub start /dev/mapper/vg0-lv0
Re: BTRFS Scrubbing & TOS6
The BTRFS cleanup command was successfully run and the recovery was successful, but it wasn't the command you mentioned. I need to look for the specific method in the forums or consult other technical personnel. Please wait patiently for my update, and I will get back to you within the next two days, whether or not I find the solution.

Hello! Have you encountered an issue with file system corruption? The command you mentioned is invalid in the TOS system. We recommend that you back up your important data first, and then try the method provided in the following link to resolve the issue:FredMutter wrote: ↑24 Feb 2025, 01:32 for me it didn't help at all. Re: BTRFS Scrubbing & TOS6
I think, I used this command => e2fsck -f /dev/mapper/vg0-lv0 -y (without success -in Nov. 24)
3 months ago I then reinstalled the TOS with EXT4 and I am lucky with that.
(by the way the corruption of my SSDs came by using rsync to copy very huge files (mkv videos files) to a network drive => the "temp/var" partition went full.
I am now using the command with the -inplace parameter to avoid this problem)

Re: BTRFS Scrubbing & TOS6
Hi TMnick - No, I don't have corruption, but I was looking at silent corruption aka bitrot - BTRFS has the ability to detect and repair\heal files - Synology are using it in their lines now, was hoping Terramaster was doing the same.TMnick wrote: ↑24 Feb 2025, 17:23Hello!
