D2-310 RAID 1 USB
I have a D2-310 and running it as RAID 1. Until now a USB connection was fine but since my move a wifi connection would be more convenient. Can this setup somehow be connected to the wifi home network or is there another Terra-master unit which would give me that facility?

Sorry, we currently do not have this feature. I have forwarded your request to the product team for evaluation.

Re: D2-310 RAID 1 USB
Thanks. And no other Terra-Master device that would give me network access?
Re: D2-310 RAID 1 USB
Hello, you may want to consider using our NAS series products, which make it easier to access the device within the same network and also offer remote access capabilities. For example, the F4-424 Pro. You can find more details here: https://www.terra-master.com/global/pro ... 4-pro.html. I hope this is helpful to you.

Re: D2-310 RAID 1 USB
It is helpful, thank you. What are the main differences between the Pro model and the standard SOHO nodel?

Depending on the file system of your RAID, if your router has USB storage sharing, you could use that feature to essentially make it a SMB share.rafikiphoto wrote: ↑09 Feb 2025, 01:38 Can this setup somehow be connected to the wifi home network …?
The SOHO F4-424 comes with an embedded Intel N95 quad-core with 8 GB DDR5 RAM out of box (the latter is upgradable), whereas the F4-424 Pro is an embedded Intel Core i3-N305 higher frequency octo-core with 32 GB DDR5 RAM (latter is also upgradable), so the processing power is better on the PRO model; software-wise it's the same TOS, so they will both offer what that entails, however the PRO model can run more containers and apps concurrently.rafikiphoto wrote: ↑10 Feb 2025, 00:23What are the main differences between the Pro model and the standard SOHO nodel?
If your use case requires the PRO, get that, otherwise the base model will more than suffice for your move from a TDAS to TNAS; you could even go the 212 ARM series route if budget is a concern.
