Colleagues, It is the nas TerraMaster F2-221 5.0.176 and the Dune HD Base 3D media player. SMB file reading works without problems. I connected a USB drive (hitachi 2 TB, 3 TB, 3.5 inches with power supply) to the computer, obviously in good working order. I copy the movies I need there, I want to run them on the media player, I fall into the folder on this drive. And when launching the file, an error is written: it is not possible to launch the file.
He copied this movie to us from a USB drive, there are no problems, it works. I gave all the rights to the folder where I saw it in the nas itself. I don't understand what prevents the file from running correctly, namely from a usb drive connected to the nas. Maybe someone has encountered such a problem?
I attached the photo from the bottom. There are two folders in the photo, one is public, the other is usbshare1. If you fall into publuc (in the photo there is also a recycle bin), the file starts there. I copied it from an external HDD - there are no problems, the hdd is fine. In the photo, let usbshare, movies. The file writes there at startup. Error: The file cannot be started.
Maybe someone has encountered this problem? I created the user (a long time ago), and now I've changed the password. All permissions are available.
Or maybe this is a feature of TOS5, someone has a device with tos6 and some kind of movie or clip, you can connect it via usb (formatted in ext4), use smb to drop the ball onto this flash drive from the dune hd media player and launch the clip. It's just that maybe I should upgrade to the latest TOS6..... But first he writes to update to 5.1.67.
The second question is, is it normally displayed on the network and read/write via smb with the latest TOS 6 and is it possible to roll back 5.0.176 later?
