Problem connecting TerraMaster NAS to local network?

Post by patterprotein »

I am using TerraMaster NAS but have problem connecting to local network. The device does not show up in the network list on Windows, even though I tried setting static IP and checking network cable. I also reset NAS and router but still not solved. Has anyone encountered similar problem? What settings in TOS or router should I check to ensure stable connection?

Thanks!

Hello!
Please go to Control Panel - Network Services - Enable Windows Discovery Service. After enabling it, you should be able to see the device in the network list.
To contact our team, please send email to following addresses, remember to replace (at) with @
Technical team: support(at)terra-master.com (for technical support)
Service team: service(at)terra-master.com (for purchasing, return, replacement, RMA service)

Also make sure your TNAS 'workgroup' matches your network (or PC) 'workgroup' (if not in a domain). Shouldn't really make a difference, but ...
