After setting up my F4-212, I ran a quick SMART test. All drives tested OK.
The NAS has been running fine, but I decided to run an Extended SMART test to make sure there were absolutely no issues.
The log said that the SMART scan had failed. I received an email comtaining JASON data for each disc. The log said that the check had failed.
I then tried to rerun the scan. The log now says that SMART is currently unavailable for each disc.
Does anyone have any ideas what to do?
Thanks,
David

This may be a connection issue or a disk problem
Is it useful to restart or replace the slot?
If your PC has a SATA interface, you can try checking it through the PC If it is a disk issue, SMART cannot be used even on a PC
