On my T12-423 I've removed the TOS flash drive and installed Ubuntu 24.04 onto a Seagate Iron Wolf drive. Following the install the system powers off and resets itself once the BIOS screen has closed. The system just loops at this point. Reboot -> BIOS -> Reboot -> BIOS -> Reboot.
Looking into the BIOS itself I can see that the UEFI Hard Disk Drive BBS Priorities are all marked as Disable:
Boot Option #1 Disable
Boot Option #2 Disable
I can manually set them to the new Ubuntu boot disk and, if I do that, the system will start fine. Next reboot, Boom! They've all been set to Disable again. It's like something it wiping them out but I have no idea what that could be.
How do I get the system to keep the Boot Options?

Yeah, that has been turned off. Do I need to drop an email to support now or are there any other suggestions?
Re: Reboot after new OS install
Actually, I think this thread viewtopic.php?t=4238) might have fixed my problem. Updating the BIOS might have done the trick.
Which is good because I might have hosed the little TOS flash drive. Is there a thread on how to fix that?

As long as it's a ×86/×64 TNAS, it's @ viewtopic.php?t=6433
