media folders not created on new install

I have a brand new F4-423 (TOS 5.1.145, no update available) with 3 18TB drives in TRAID, where I've created 2 volumes.
I installed Multimedia Server (ver 3.2.101) and enabled it. Windows can see the TNAS on the network as a Media Device, VLC can also see and shows folders (Music, Pictures, Video) and subfolders for each of those.
Problem is I cannot find those media folders using the *File Manager* or any other way to enable sharing and actually add files to them.
What have I missed?

If you want to see the shared folder on your TNAS through VLC, you need to go to the Media Index in the control panel to add your shared folder, after indexing you will be able to see your files.

The Music, Pictures, Video you see on VLC are not real folders, instead, they are media type categories sort by DLNA. This is the reason you can't see them on file manager.
