Unable to log in to web interface or by SSH

I've got a f2-423 and connected a D4-300 to it, which I've been trying to use as a Time Machine for a Mac. I enabled an extra setting on the SMB file service options on TOS5.1 which locked up the NAS, and now I've restarted it, the NAS won't allow me to log in via the web interface, and just gives me the frustrating Loading......., please wait message. Trying to log in via SSH also just times out. Can I please have some guidance on how to resolve?

I've had a similar issue before that self resolved, but this is now very frustrating as its stopping me from using my data.

Just to add a bit more, when it initially started my plex server became reachable for about 2 minutes before going offline.

I've verified the ip is correct via my router and also using the command arp -a in Mac terminal, ping the ip given provides a timeout.

The two under the Mac OS options. Special characters and the other one next to that (I can't remember the name).

I think the second one you mention concerns working with AFP protocol. Did you have AFP enabled? There is a warning about not using Superuser account with Time Machine backups over AFP. Just a thought.

I did have AFP enabled and wasn't using the superuser

Anyway I took some advice from the terra master chat, which completely messed up my TOS install, so I've just finished rebuilding it all and now im stuck on Time Machine again
