File system snapshot - not including NEW shared folders?

Post by Gremlin »

@TMSupport

Grateful if you could confirm that, after a new FILE SYSTEM SNAPSHOT has been established, any newly created
shared folders are NOT included in that snapshot series.

Running Tos 6.0.535 it appears that it is necessary to create a new Snapshot {NEWNAME} for any additional folders to be included.

Also, would that then lead to 'orphaned' snapshots from {OLDNAME} or would those continue to appear in the new snapshot list?
Would File System Snapshot 'auto delete' type settings apply to {OLDNAME} as well as {NEWNAME} snapshots?

{At the moment I can't be bothered to sit for days waiting to see if old snapshots are expired and deleted!} :?:
