Hi

Im trying to get my old NAS working with plex that has TOS 3 on it..

I've installed plex media server on there, I can see all my files in file manager (all moved to the NAS, didnt realise I couldnt organize them after moving), but when I log into plex with the NAS, in add folders - browse for media folder, none of my folders show. permissions for the admin user are read/write for all folders. I can't add a user named plex (saw this as a solution) just says operation failed, not sure what else to try, please help.

in browse for media folders, theres things like /,md0, Library and tmp_transcoding and nothing more and I dont know where even these are located if anyuone knows?

Thanks

been spendiong hours on this if anyone can answer the above, where do i save files in file manager and what do I put as the root address in browse for media folders.

thank you

From image you provided, I can tell the TOS version is not TOS 5, it is a very old version. This version now is end of supporting. what is your model number?

Hi the model is F2-420 ..

I found the media was in /mnt/md0/public/

plex web app has discovered and can see the media but the TV says I require a newer version of plex however I cant find how to manually update it as there is no 'settings' in the app centre of this version. do you know how I do it?

Thanks
