Hi.
I need to add WIFI to my NAS - can anyone confirm whether these models of usb wifi adapters work with F4-423? I know that there are certain chips that are supported ( RTL8812bu and RTL8812au ) Which chip is newer? and which of those dongles would work?
Netgear A6210 AC1200 Dual Band (867+300Mbps) USB WiFi Adaptor
TP-LINK Archer T9UH AC1900 Dual Band USB Wifi Adaptor
Netgear A7000-100PES AC1900 Dual Band
ASUS USB-AC68 Dual Band 802.11 (1300+600Mbps) WiFi Adaptor (USB)
BrosTrend AC3 Dual Band 1200Mbps(867+300Mbps) USB WiFi Adaptor
BrosTrend AX1800 USB WiFi 6 Dongle
TP-Link Archer T3U Plus AC1300 MU-MIMO USB 3.0 WiFi Dual Band Adapter
Will this dongle work with F4-423
Re: Will this dongle work with F4-423
We only support wireless network cards that use the 8812bu and 8812au chips. Please confirm whether your network card is one of these two chip types, as only network cards that meet this requirement will be supported.

Although not a definitive list, using these as a resource to check against:
RTL8812AU | RTL8812BU
Only the BrosTrend AC3 (apparently could be either of these 2 RealTek chips in question) & the TP-Link T3U Plus could work; the rest are incompatible (currently no AX support within currently available TOS 4.×/5.×/6.× releases).

Thank you! both of them work - any idea which one would be better? Or actually - is there a speedtest/bandhwith test otion for the TOS 5.1?

Visibly, the AC3 having two adjustable omnidirectional antennae (seemingly 2×2) should mean its connection & throughput should be better than the single antenna T3U Plus (though TP-Link claims it's a dual antennae in one, so also 2×2), however wireless connectivity can be impacted by many environmental issues such as RF interference, so real-world abilities are near impossible to predict.
