Hello,

On my New F4-423 when i start virtualbox, i have an error message : An unknown PHP error occurred. This is most likely a syntax error in config.php in phpVirtualBox's folder. The most common errors are an unclosed quote or a missing semicolon in a configuration item that has been entered (e.g. location, username, or password).

Depending on your PHP configuration, navigating directly to config.php in your web browser may display the PHP error message.

If find that this is not the case, or have no idea what this error message means, please raise the issue at https://github.com/phpvirtualbox/phpvirtualbox/issues

Can you tell me what i do to corrige this problem? Thanks
Sorry for my english
regards

the referenced post doesn't solve the problem. I kept getting the same error message. Even tried reinstalling the entire TOS and still didn't help. Please help!

Hi there,
I am experiencing similar problem with VirtualBox.
Running TOS 6 on FS4-424max and a Windows 11 VM the VirtualBox crashes every few days and making also TOS unusable ... this is maximum annoying as everytime I need to go to the NAS and hardly need to switch it off and on again.

This never happened with my Synology - guys, we all love your hardware specs and quick OS release circles but you should really spend some more time in testing. There is a huge NAS community out there discussing that Terramaster looks fine on paper but does not deliver on SW.

Hello, while running VirtualBox, are you running any other projects on the NAS? The system crash may have been caused by too many processes being loaded and excessive resource consumption, leading to the system's collapse.

Hey, nothing else was running in parallel. It is a mess ...

Even worse that I am trying to duple backup my data to my 1-bay DS118 via rsync.
Beside it is unbelievable slow (I know encrypting, check sum, packing all takes time) but the process crashed after 1.5 days and I needed to start from scratch. Although it should say "partial success" it says "backup failed". ugly also, that now 1.5TB from previous backup still remains on target NAS and I fear unused for my 2nd backup attempt.

It is so frustrating ...
