2. Fixed the issue that normal users could not access USB devices properly after setting permissions.
3. Fixed the issue that the state of volume and storage pool could occasionally be inconsistent
4. Fixed the issue that IPv6 status was not inherited when deleting a BOND.
5. Fixed the issue that some shared folders could not inherit permissions.
6. Fixed the issue that permissions occasionally displayed incorrectly when uploading folders in file manager.

8. Fixed the issue that the power-on automatic startup function was abnormal on F8 SSD/F8 SSD Plus.

Important Information:
1.Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drives, but for safety, please make sure to back up your data in advance.
2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.

Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.

This model no longer supports using TOS6.

*sighs*

After several smooth(ish) upgrades in the beta versions lulled me into a false sense of security, going from 6.0.500 to 6.0.507 appears to have completely broken everything for me yet again.

I can no longer access the web user interface on the expected ports (I had "released" 80/443), the default ports don't work either, always saying "Unable to Connect"

While I can connect to the SSH port, I cannot authenticate. Neither with my previous password, or using an SSH key that I had added to my "superuser" account so password with SSH was not required. It looks like yet again TOS has messed up my root account somehow.

It looks like my only choice is probably going to have to be hooking it up to a monitor and try and work out whats going on.

I am trying to be patient with TOS. I do, and want to continue liking it. But I just don't understand as to how it can be this flaky at this stage and my trust is waning.

It would be great to install a minor version upgrade and still be able to access the NAS afterwards :-|

Are you logging into the terminal using the user you created when you initialized the system? After the update, can you use TNAS PC to search and then jump to the browser? Have you tried restarting the TNAS? Would it be convenient for you to contact our online customer service now so that we can remotely check it for you?

After the update, can you use TNAS PC to search? If so, you can try using TNAS PC to click and jump. Did you make any modifications to the system files in the terminal before the update? If you did, you might be redirected to the system initialization page after the update. You can log into the terminal using the account created during the system initialization. If restarting doesn't work, if it's convenient for you, you can contact us for remote troubleshooting.

After updating 6.0.500 and 6.0.507, I can't add a long test for my HDDs. Only quick or long. I can't use both at the same time. This problem wasn't in beta version 6.0.460

Yes. I chose the name "superuser" for this.
TMRyan wrote: 30 Sep 2024, 17:40 Have you tried restarting the TNAS?
Yes I tried a restart.
TMRyan wrote: 30 Sep 2024, 17:40 Would it be convenient for you to contact our online customer service now so that we can remotely check it for you?
That would be possible if it comes to it, see next reply. FWIW, you have already rescued me once before with what appears to be a very similar problem.
TMRyan wrote: 30 Sep 2024, 17:40 After the update, can you use TNAS PC to search and then jump to the browser?
Yes! It seems I can. This is the first time i've used the TNAS PC. Ordinarily I just connect from Linux using browser or SSH. Screenshots attached.

So it is saying the TNAS is uninitialised. It really isn't! This looks scary. If I continue, is my existing data safe?
