Boot TrueNAS Core from NVME

Post by Justus »

Hey there, dear Terramaster Forum,

I have recently bought a Terramaster F4-424. Since I am not entirely happy with the TOS for my needs, I wanted to install TrueNAS Core on there. The installation itself on one of my NVMEs was no problem, but now I cannot, for the love of me, figure out, how to get it to boot from said SSD. The BIOS definitely knows that there are two SSDs inside of it because it shows them in the NVME Configuration Tab of my BIOS. I added a few shots of my BIOS (sorry for the bad quality) including the current version, in case there is an update I couldn't find or an option to switch from BIOS to a suitable UEFI version, as well as my (very limited) Options in the Boot and Save&Exit Tabs (the Boot Option shown there is my USB Stick).

Since I am at a loss of what else to do, I'd greatly appreciate any input you could give me

Thanks a lot in advance
Justus

Last image -> boot override -> disable.

Then you set the boot order as you wish.
