TOS 6.0.500 Official Release

Users currently running TOS 6.0.420 Beta or later versions.
Note:Updates for other users will be released gradually. Please stay tuned for update notifications.

Warning!

• This update is only applicable to TOS 6.0.420 and later versions. Do not update if you are using other versions of TOS.

• After the update, it will not be possible to revert to an earlier version.

• This version is not compatible with the Beta version's permissions, and user permissions will need to be reconfigured after the update.

Important Information:
1.Updating the system theoretically will not affect the data on your hard drives, but for safety, please make sure to back up your data in advance.
2.Before updating, ensure that your primary volume (usually volume1) has at least 3GB of available space. Insufficient storage space may cause the update to fail.
3.After the update, the IP address of your TNAS may change. Please use the TNAS PC desktop client to search for and reconnect to the device.

Update Procedure:
1.Go to TOS > Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update, and click "Check for updates."
2.Follow the prompts to update the system.
3.After the system update is complete, you may need to refresh your browser.
4.The TNAS IP address may change after the update. If you cannot connect to your TNAS using the previous IP address, use the TNAS PC client to search for the new IP address.

Is there a fix for external USB drives changing drive letters? I'm having issues with my backup drive changing letters and then USB Copy and TFM backup fail or put the data on a different drive.

Failed to update = "Insufficient space".
2x500GB nvme in Traid > 400GB free BUT I also have 2 x 6GB hdd mounted as 'external' drives.
I suspect update package is looking to hdd for installation and not finding space there (obviously).

I have notified @pm by email

I will try removing the external drives and see if that changes anything.

So this is only for new customers buying the VERY latest models.......

Try publishing the ONLY for these models list and saving your customers time and energy. (Despite everything I am really P******D OFF!)

Other than the number of drive bays, what is the difference between F2-424, F4-424 and F6-424?

F6-424 has a TOS6.0.500 package available. (Therefore MUST be on the update list.)
The others do not!
