Tos 6.0.461 Beta Update failed to install (from 460)

Apparently because I had less than 3GB free space on Volume1 (or first volume as expressed in notice).

However there was >400GB on 500GB array.

Shutdown & Removed test drives that were installed. {No data needing to be preserved}
Re-start - attempt update again.
No change.
Reset system config
Restart & re-aquire via Tnas-PC
Re-initialize.

Tos version automatically updated via init process.
{I think I would have prefered an earlier (eg last) version to be installed, so I could do the update myself in the circumstances}.
Volume1 and folders appear intact.
No previously installed apps recognised (not unexpected).
