Abnormal shut down from power failure

Post by KWguy »

The power went off and my two NAS units lost power and when they came back on there was a system message indicating an abnormal shutdown and I should check my data and array for corruption.

Is there a corruption checker software program I should run?

Next, I plan to buying a UPS.

If your array is corrupted, TNAS will beeped and TOS will notify you that the array has been degraded.
If you want to check the file system, you can refer to the following to see if there are any errors in the log: viewtopic.php?t=2575
