Motion detection fails

I recently purchased an F2-223 with TOS 5.1.67-00214. I am running Surveillance Manager 0.1.34.
I have setup an Amcrest camera (IP2M-B41B) with Surveillance Manager and would like to record video only when motion is detected. When I set the schedule to Motion Detection (all green) and set Event Detection source to Camera, i get continuous recording even though there is no motion. When I clear the schedule (all white) and set Event Detection source to Camera, I get no recording even if there is motion.
I know this is not a camera issue because when I go back to the original Amcrest systemmotion detection works. How can I get recording with motion detection using Serveillance Manager?
Thank you

The Servillance Manager application does not have the function of only recording motion pictures

I dont understand. So what is the purpose of Motion Detection option or Event Detection - Camera option in Camera settings?

Sorry, currently the Servillness Manager can only set scheduled recording through scheduled tasks. Regarding the action detection recording function, it is temporarily invalid
We have a corresponding development plan and will soon release a new version of Servillness Manager, which will support motion detection. You can view the detection results in the recording and timeline functions.

Thank you. When will you release the new version? Do you have a date?

Preliminary estimate is 2-3 weeks, which may be advanced or delayed depending on the situation.

I was able to connect all four of my cameras, but only via RTSP, no matter how I tried to connect via ONVIF, it did not work, on Synology everything was simply added by camera model or universally. I enabled ONVIF in the camera settings, but Terramaster simply writes an error when trying to connect. With RTSP, you need to specify the correct stream, like stream101/channel=101, it is done rather complicatedly.
Hikvision DS-2CD2523G0-IWS
Hikvision DS-2CV2Q21FD-IW
Hikvision DS-2CD2443G0-IW
HiWatch DS-I202 D
I could not set up motion detection.
Either motion detection is related to ONVIF, or is performed by the camera, or I did not understand anything, or it has not been implemented.

Surveillance 1.0.054

I am trying to setup 2 Reolink cameras on my F4 423 I have upgraded to TOS 6 just to get the hyper cach to work. Now I find out here that Surveillance Manager app is mostly none functioning. I really wish this would be clear when one is looking at the TerraMaster info before one makes a purchase. I had both these cameras working fine on Synology. I decided I would upgrade to a 4 bay and now find out what a mistake that was as so many of the apps are none functioning if you are not a computer programer.
