Judging from your model, you may have used TOS4. If you have used TOS4 and did not format the hard drive when upgrading to TOS5. Maybe your storage structure is still TOS4. Its system partition is not enough for newer versions of TOS5. For more details, please refer to:

We are not able to reproduce such an issue in our lab. And until this moment, we did not receive similar complaints from other users. Please make sure your hard drive system partition is healthy, or change a drive and reinstall the TOS again.

Hi,

I have the same issue and I have upgraded successfully form TOS 4 to TOS 5 and haven't had any other issues apart from the SMB service suddenly stopped working yesterday (have been on TOS5 since it got released) and now isn't able to start up again.

And not able to do anything in the WEB GUI as it just says its disabled and the apply button is always grayed out.
Screenshot 2023-10-02 at 17.36.00.png
In the logs its complains about this when trying to start it from the shell:

Code: Select all

TOS version: 5.1.67
Slash partition size: / 3.79GB used out of total size of 7.41GB
No other issues with the OS since the upgrade. Just SMB is borked.
I'm also using the F5-422 model.
