Perhaps the nas has changed it's network address for some reason or is no longer connected to the network. Can it be seen with browser/TNAS Mobile?

The latest version of Multimedia Server is 3.2.79, which you can download from this link: http://dl.terra-master.com/cn/APP5.1_X6 ... x86_64.tpk, enable the multimedia server, select the connected network interface, and click Apply. If you find that the network interface is not connected, then re-select the connected network interface and click Apply.

ts strange if this update is needed that it wasn't showing as an available update in App Centre

this update breaks PLEX service. Was a nigthmare to get back to the last working version 5.1.40.
Please could you develop an option in the TOS menu to rollback if we dont like or something fails with a new version instaled?? Is neccessary to avoid waste hours of time and anxiety to get back to work something that was ok.

I have to reset 2 times the F2-220 whit tha last 5.1.67 because the first time just all the apps was deleted.
After back to 5.1.41 and make plex work again the NAS still hanging (system is in sluggis state legend appears). (using saved config settings file)
One again factory reset and this time to 5.0.176.
time involved 2 days and 4 to 5 hours to

Im regret to have been upgrade from 4.2.x to 5 (to fix the system partition 2GB to 8GB) I was fine since 2018 with my 4TB HDD, I got my nas with TOS 3 then upgrade to TOS 4 and recently for upgrade my HDDs to 8TB bad idea to upgrade also TOS 4.2.x to 5.1.x

I hope TOS 5.0.176 keeps my PLEX server running normal for several years I wont upgrade TOS anymore until you
1 auto fix anything prior to an TOS upgrade (like system 2GB to 8GB )
2 offers a rollback option to avoid redo and risk all the user data in the disks, PLEASE

note
If your NAS is working ok do not recomend to guess that update TOS is a good and logical idea, is not. Save time and risk

220 series with 2GB system partition is not recommended to update to TOS 5.1!

We have stopped requesting hpet in the latest TOS version, and we have verified that the countermeasure is effective. As for your case, we need further verification.

You can try to change the hpet option to disable in BIOS.
how do I disable hpet? I went into the bios and I do not see South Bridge config options under Chipset. When I plug a monitor into the TNAS while it's running I just see [numbers] hpet: lost [numbers] repeating down the screen. While poking around the bios I did bypass USB boot disk and the issue went away, but the BIOS also does not let me reconfigure the boot order.

Some models and BIOS versions do not have this option.

Are you confusing @henrychr with another user? @henrychr has been talking about Fn-221 model, which has been OK with TOS5.1 updates to date, except possibly the latest which seems to have reverted to hpet issues previously 'fixed'. It would seem the developers have regressed that module of the OS and also introduced a date format issue although how they could break something so basic is beyond me. Am I using the "wrong" device for TOS 5.1 as well?????
