NAS fold permission

I am using F4-423 NAS. It has some strange behavior with regarding to the fold permission. Folders (which store media files) that I have permission to access (read/write) will suddenly show I don't have permission. I have to disconnect and reconnect and login (with the same account) then I will gain permission again. Why that is the case? please advise.

Access from where? Can you get the correct permissions from "File Manager" on TOS web ?

I am using my MacBook Pro ( connected to the NAS through SMB). I checked permission setting many times using TOS 5.1. The folder are all set properly with READ/WRITE permission for the same account I connected through my MacBook Pro. I am using Apple M2 Pro MacBook Pro with Ventura 13.2.

Are you accessing other users' personal accounts or the configuration directory of an application? Are you using the initial administrator account?
In addition to possible permission configuration issues, it may also be caused by file system errors. You can try to fix possible file system issues:
