Drive suddenly Unmounted after update to TOS 5.0

Post by alinwrkshp »

Just updated to TOS 5.0 and now I see the following screenshots. I didn't have much on my NAS yet so I just started with 5 formatted disks. I am trying out TRAID.

Upon first opening up the Hard Drive tasks I am shown a warning indicator.

Then when looking at the specific hard drive it shows as "unmounted".

I have tried to follow the "mounting guidelines" posted here... viewtopic.php?f=76&t=3587

But I cannot seem to get logged in under the "root". My administrator password doesn't work and when I try to use "sudo -i" it gives me the following message...

Ok figured out that root user doesn't exist in 5.0, ran the suggested commands through SSH and no change. Drive is still unmounted. So then how do I mount that drive in 5.0?

Pull the drive out and reinsert it again, make sure the drive well sits in its position. and make sure the drive is healthy.
