Error connecting the disk

Post by sergey1878 »

Today I received the following message in the mail:

"The RAID level in the carrier pool 0 has been lowered! For the security of your data, please repair the RAID as soon as possible."

All the disks were fine and after the reboot I received the following message:

"Re-synchronization of RAID #2 is complete."
I began to understand the situation and saw the following:

All disks are new.

What to do?

And here is another disk in the same slot. Is this a device defect or what?

This message looks difficult to understand, is it the original message? or it is a translation from another language?

The question is that the disk in the second seat works in 1.5Gb/s mode, and not in 6.0gb/s mode. I inserted another disk into the second slot, the situation has not changed. There is clearly a problem in the slot itself. Is it possible to fix it somehow, or is it a defect of the F4-423 device?

when you change a new hard drive, you can try to restart the device to update the information, or you can do benchmark testing to make sure your hard drive is working well.

I installed the OS again, of course. With a different set of disks (I have already asked the question how to change one set of disks to another). Of course, I checked the performance of the disk (Iron Wolf 4 Tb) in slot 2. If the number of IOPS for channel 1 was 2666, then for slot 2 only 1800. The delay is 96ms for slot 1 and 136 ms for slot 2. The read speed is 163 mb/s for slot 1 and 116 for slot 2.
Here are screenshots of the WD RED 2 Tb tests

No, it's not normal. It was meant that the disks are the same. And this is normal when the disk in slot 2 works in SATA 1.5 Gb mode, while the same disk in slot 1 works in normal 6Gb mode.? At the same time, the entire system is running sluggishly due to errors in the console.
I repeat the question again: is this a device defect? How do I get my money back for it?

Why are you silent? Or do you think that if you keep silent, your reputation will not suffer. Solving user questions improves reputation. You write that Terrenas is the best NAS Storage solution. I strongly doubt it. As do the rest of the people who have encountered the problem and received silence from the support service in response.
I'm waiting for an answer to the question!!
