"Configuration failed" may be that the port is already occupied, you can try different ports. In addition, whether the nas is running the webserver, if so, please update the application and try to enable the webdav service again.

Is your product model F2-210/F4-210? This needs to be implemented in subsequent releases.

I have a F2-423 running 5.0.144 and SFTP also does not seem to work at all for my home directory. I can see it listed when logging in with my client (transit), and sometimes I am able to open my home folder and get a directory listing. But most of the time I will get an error stating that it's not a directory in my SFTP client.

Did you mean Transmit Mac?
We will verify the use of this tool again.
It is recommended that you also try other SFTP tools to see if the same problem occurs.
Is your switch/router bandwidth high enough to rule out network congestion?
In addition, after an error occurs, it is recommended that you immediately generate a log report in the technical support-Report issues, and then send it to our technical support mailbox, and we will do a preliminary analysis on it.

Sorry, I meant Transmit. I also tested with Cyberduck and get similar error when trying to navigate to my home folder.
As for bandwidth, I have a 1 gig switch and both my computer and NAS are attached to same switch. I switched to WebDAV for now, and it's working perfectly with Transmit.
I will gather logs next time and submit them as you say.
