Hi!
There may be an error in the system partition. If you need help, you can email our technical team to have a remote session.

this thread basically outlines my symptoms, going to try fix it by initializing a new drive, and loading in the old raid, i just hope that the data hasnt been damaged proceeding through the wizard until the volume creation section.

i figured i would be able to insert the 3 drives into my nas after booting it off a 4th, now i just inserted the 3, i was hoping to have the raid array appear or atleast somehow recover it from within the nas...

Beeping is kind of warning, it means your RAID is downgraded or your drive file system is crashed!
Normally this happens when drives are failing in your RAID or an unexpected power failure.

no unexpected power failure and the drives were only formatted days ago
i managed to get the drives to pickup lastnight and it looked promising, but they now show in the system as empty after another failure

Seems like the filesystem is damaged, the raid5 array picks up fine in the nas and in this free software

using a free data recovery tool, it seems that one of the hdd's is corrupt, so not looking like its the fault of the nas, but do you guys recommend a paid data recovery app thats compatible with your btrfs file system? i don't want to pay $250 for something that's not going to work with your file system.
