I've installed a 16TB HDD in my new F2-210, but am only given the option of formatting as EXT4, how do I get the option for BTRFS?

F2-210 does not support btrfs file system.

BTRFS works but it has to have been already created in previous version of TOS.

However the Terramaster website is misleading / confusing as it still shows that BTRFS is a supported file system so people are still buying this thinking it actually does like the OP.

Then why exactly, as per @scoobfizz's comment your own website and the listing on Amazon, both confirm it DOES support BTRFS, which was half of the reason I purchased this model!

what you actually mean is the F2-210 does not support the creation of btrfs file system ANYMORE since a recent update

it would be more useful if you can provide a fuller explanation to people asking the questions

it used to but this support has now been turned off due to issues with the TM software it was deemed more appropriate to stop users from using it than fixing the root cause of the issues

@sianderson thanks for the updated info. Would be nice if Terramaster had volunteered this themselves...

Because of technical issues, btrfs has been removed from 4.2.13 and later versions.
And we will check again and correct the wrong pages. I am sorry for that.
