F4-210 Initialization problem
Posted: 23 Jan 2021, 20:23
Hi there,
I've first correctly initialized my new F4-210 with 2 brand new WD Red 8To 5400rpm in RAID1 (the two drives have been bought separetly to avoid getting 2 from the same batch).
Then, I've connected a USB hard drive directly to the NAS and start copying files to the NAS directly via the TOS.
The transfer was a bit long, so I browsed the app directory and started the installation of the plex server. The installation started and I've continued to browse the apps.
Suddenly, the webpage refreshed itself and showed me the initialization page again ! Impossible to go further that point because it's not possible to select the timezone (no values in the list).
The copying process is finished but the drives are still active and thus it's not possible to switch off the NAS.
As I can still access the NAS via the network drive and in order to stop the drive's work, I've deleted all files from the NAS. But the drives remain active and still not possible to reboot the device !
What should I do ? Is there a kind of console mode the get access to the system and restart it properly ?
For the moment, no datas are lost because i'm just starting the copy of my datas but I don't feel really confident if the control and/or the configuration of the system can be lost so easily.
Thanks for any help.
