Hi

I recently bought this with the 2gb ddr4 ram installed and before i populate it with my drives i was looking to add another stick of ram.
I asked the support function but wasn't told the details of the ram i required but that it was out of stock.

Does anyone know what speed and size of ddr4 ram would work well please?

I used this on my F2-221 and it seems to work fine. 8gb instead of 2.

A friend used 8 gig of DDR3 in his F5-221 and its works fine...and way cheaper.

Edit... this is an 8gb stick, I meant 8 additional (10gb total) and it detects it and runs fine. Not really doing anything more than a fileserver so far though.

So you have 2 gb of ddr4 and 8gb of ddr3?

If the built in 2 really is DDR4, then yes, that is what I have. I have had no issues and it reports 10Gb of RAM.

Compatibility list on https://www.terra-master.com/global/compatibility/ lists for F2-221 DDR3L 1600Hz 1.35V so DDR3 and DDR4 are not going to work.
