Hi All,

I have been using Plex for years now and have recently upgraded to a new TNAS server F5-221 with currently 3 drives out of the 5 being filled right now.

Plex is at version 1.20.5.3600

When I first set it up, it seemed to be working fine. Last week I noticed some funky thing with it.

Now I am at a point where it only shows the thumbnails for a fraction of what I have. The other titles show a blank gray square with the name of it below it and the year or # of seasons. But when I click to view those files, I get the error

"There was an unexpected error loading this item"

Now I have tested the video files on the drive themselves and they work. What is going on?

Also when I tried to do a test of a new Library and add say just one folder it will not see it.

Why is this happening? Any thoughts? It is very frustrating.

Also when I did a test to grab that same folder on the old server on my laptop it found everything no problems. So i think there is an issue with the NAS server I created?

Would it be best to delete it? and start fresh? Or is there an issue with the program version?

You can reset it, and add the library again to see whether it's ok.

I have tried the reset in the program on TOS.

Should I remove the library and create a new one? then too?

You can just rename the library and try to create a new one.

I have tried renaming the bad library and created a new one.

No videos files are being found now, even though I had the location to the same folder. Also I can not delete the old Library.

The existing libraries would be erased when resetting it on Plex like the following picture shows:

I have clicked on the "RESET" button, but all the existing libraries are still there when I go into PLEX.

You are saying that it should erase all of those? For a fresh start?

No luck there.

I tried deleting it from inside PLex. But it does not disappear. How do I erase the TNAS server I created and create a new one? The server running off my laptop works fine.
