Cut and Paste failing with NAN%

I am trying to cut and paste within folders on the NAS drive. Almost all of the folders cut and paste fine, but a small percentage result in a NAN% display in the copy progress bar, and eventually the copy completes, but the folders never get moved. What is causing this?

We will verify and troubleshoot. Is the phenomenon caused by cutting and pasting empty files or folders?

Cut and paste an empty file/folder showing NAN%, it is a success.

I just had this same issue and the problem was because the files i was transferring had symbols like ' and " etc.. in the titles. example: John's Photos. As soon as i removed them from the files and folders i could then transfer fine. So John's Photos now becomes Johns Photos.
