[Help] UPS Issues Remain

I still haven't been able to get my F4-424 Max connected to the UPS. I'm now on TOS 7.0.0804.
I've having no luck using NUT but I was told that in TOS v7, I could open Control Panel/Hardware & Power/UPS and it would work using TNAS UPS Server but it fails to connect. The credentials in /etc/nut/upsd.users are correct.
Any ideas how I can get this working?

Are you saying that the nas does not recognise the usb connection to the UPS? DO you have a second nas that won't connect to the first set as server?
{You say "issue remains" - perhaps a link to any earlier relevant posts would help.}

OMG! I just got it to work and it was so simple. On the UPS server, I changed the name from [myups] to [ups]. Then when I went back into Control Panel and tried to connect, it did!

Hi.
Regarding the issue you mentioned, we have decided to optimize or even redesign the UPS module in future versions. Please look forward to future TOS updates.
