[Help] Drives freeze when d4-320 is unplugged

Hi,

When i unplug the d4-320 or turn it off with the power button the drives remain visible in file explorer, i cannot open them, and i can't use the windows' eject feature anymore. I can't even use diskpart, and if i try to restart explorer it refuses to start again, forcing me to reboot.

If i eject the drives before unplugging or turning the d4-320 off, i can safely do it without problems.
This really isn't a problem, but i want to know if it's an intended behavior.

I don't know what will happen if the drives go in sleep mode, because i have software that reads the smart every 100 seconds that prevents them to go sleep.

I'm using the original power supply and cable, directly connected to the usbc on my motherboard.

Edit: i did some testing, when the drives go to sleep they will recover without problems.

Edit 2: after more testing, i discovered that this problem doesn't appear immediately on my desktop, if i turn off the d4-320 right after turning it on the drives eject without issue. Then i used my laptop and the issue doesn't seem to appear at all, i waited up to 30m twice and when i turn it off, the drives eject properly.
At this point, it seems that my desktop (or my windows installation on the desktop) doesn't like something, but i don't know what.

Edit 3: i'm tired. I tried using a usb a port, using an adapter (a bad one, only usb 2.0) but now i can't reproduce the problem anymore. So i suppose it's something with my usbc port, although i don't have any problems with other devices.
I really just want to know if it's a d4-320 problem or not, but it doesn't seem to be.

This issue only reproduces when the desktop PC's USB-C connection is forcefully powered off after extended operation. No abnormalities are observed when using a laptop or a USB2.0 adapter. This phenomenon is not a hardware defect of the D4-320, but rather a common system behavior triggered by compatibility issues between Windows and the USB controller when the device is powered off or unplugged without being safely ejected.
