I have same problem for docker.
I just copy folder with DB (login by ssh), remove original folder and copy back DB. And docker run correctly.
It didn't work, and after a while it stopped working again
I tried this method, but it didn’t work — not even for a short time. The error didn’t go away

Yes, this is the second time I’m seeing this. On TOS 6 I had similar problems — folder permissions would constantly change or disappear after updates.
I tried the following approach via SSH:
Code: Select all
cp -a data db_fix
rm -rf data
mv db_fix data

USB Copy, is it supposed to have notification/email status messages? At least starting and stopping.

You can enable Debug Mode in the "Support & Help" section on the TOS desktop. This way, if another random shutdown occurs, the system will continuously generate debug logs up until the shutdown. Please download these logs and provide them to us so we can conduct an in-depth investigation.
Thanks, Enabled and we'll see what happens. No shutdowns since yesterday afternoon.
Sent in logs via support email. Had 3 more shut downs this weekend. Wondering if PS might be failing.

Hi.
What is your response to the widespread issue with permissions in Docker containers?
This problem appears to be affecting many users. How can it be resolved, or when should we expect a hotfix ?

Hi TerraMaster team and community,
I would like to ask if there is any official or supported way to test TOS 7 in a virtual environment, specifically on Proxmox VE, for evaluation purposes.
I am a certified IT specialist (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) and I operate several Proxmox environments professionally and privately. Before investing in new NAS hardware, I usually evaluate operating systems in a VM to better understand architecture, UI/UX, update behavior, and general system design.
My test environment:
Proxmox VE 8.x
UEFI / Q35
Intel & AMD hosts
SATA / NVMe storage backends
Bridged networking (vmbr)
I am fully aware that TOS is primarily designed for TerraMaster hardware and that VM usage would be for testing only, without expectations of full functionality, performance parity, or official support.
However, having access to a test ISO or documented VM setup would be extremely helpful for technical evaluation and decision-making.
Is there any possibility to:
Access a TOS 7 test ISO, or
Participate in an Insider / Preview program that allows VM-based testing?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.
Best regards
