I didn't update until my NAS told me that there was an update available, this was after the update was halted because of this problem, but I am still seeing this "WAN Disconnected" error on my NAS F4-424. Any fix for this?
might be a silly suggestion, but try using LAN1 not LAN2?

You can also try the following solutions:
Enter the command:
Code: Select all
ln -sf /run/systemd/resolve/stub-resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf
Open the option:
Tailscale Magic DNS

Been trying to copy some big folders (80 GB or more) to an external SSD 2 TB (over USB, exfat) and encountered several issues:
1) even if it is clean, it copies some files and returns that there isn't enough free space (which isn't true). That happens after some Gb or some files. Not always the same.
2) when I format in TOS 6 again in exfat it doesn't execute. I have to format in fat 32 and again in exfat to really delete everything. But then the same as in 1), it fails shortly after a couple of Gb or even a couple of files.
3) multiple selection is faulty and I have to try it multiple times. It selects other folders than the selected ones. Also, it works only one at a time or many sequential, not like on windows, Linux or macos that I press Ctrl and choose whatever I want.

Was having issues with remote connection. First time found it was my Adguard blocking it. I had a reboot last week and nothing would bring it back up. I was under the impression the the TNAS ID should never change. The number I've had since day one always worked. It was coming up telling the ID was already in use. So I tried a new number and now it works. Am I wrong that the ID should always be the same?
I had the same, had to change my id slightly to gain access.

Hallo,

Hallo,
I want to use my Terramaster NAS F4-212 on my smartphone via the internet. To do this, I installed the TNAS mobile app and completed the online registration on the NAS. However, the app apparently wants to use TOS 6 and not TOS 5.1 for a connection. How can I update my NAS?

It's currently still a beta release:
viewtopic.php?t=7888; TOS 6 for ARM stable release seems to be at least one more beta away.

Hi,
Regarding 'automatic shutdown', have you noticed prompts such as 'abnormal shutdown' or 'disk overheating' or any other related messages after rebooting?
How often does this issue occur? Is there a specific time frame when it happens?
Additionally, are you using an uninterruptible power supply (UPS)? If so, please provide the model of the UPS.

Given the various issues you have encountered during formatting and transmission, we may have to question the health of the SSD.
If you connect the SSD to a PC/Mac, do you experience similar problems?
Additionally, if you attempt to format the SSD as NTFS or EXT4, are you able to successfully copy files?
While performing these actions, is the NAS system load normal?
Regarding the multi-select feature, could you please provide a screenshot so we can understand the specific location of the anomaly? We will discuss whether improvements and optimizations can be made.
