The verification was run at boot time, I updated and restarted days prior to the logs I have posted. these came after a reboot and the system verified the whole volume (Volume1).
I suspected that the background daemons or configs caused a delay with the reboot and i was incorrect, Verification of the raid was my reason for the boot process to take longer than i had expected. Prior version of TOS 5.0.xxx didn't seem to take as long to reboot. :)
looking at the dmesg log, it took about 30 mins to pop up and allow ssh and web login etc.... : )
