Anyone else seen this behaviour, the disk report says they are good, and there are no problems once the volume are deleted and remade so what does the problem does the system think the disks are not good or is the update flaky, like I said I am now really worried that the update is going to cause problems on my other TNAS.

i have a t6-423
many times after a update i must cut the power of the nas if not, it dont restart correctly, even after 40 minutes
after all is ok

There may be a problem with the system. You can connect the display screen and send the screenshot of the error report to us for analysis.

what did you mean won't restart correctly? what happens? what did you see? any screenshot?

Not able to give the permissions to any of my usbshares...any idea on a timeline for resolution to this or workarounds?

May I know what kind of USB? did you set the permissions on UI successfully?

in fact there is no detection with tnaspc and no connection with webexplolrer !
even after 40 minutes after the update

Sorry, again, what did you mean cut of the power? switch off? or just un plug the power adapter?

I have to press the buton power many second until the nas stop
Note that the leds of the harddisk( x5 ) have a strong activity at the first restart after the update
But no connection with tnaspc or webexplorer even afer 40 minutes

Is it bad that I updated to 5.0.160 while it was offered to me through the system's update system? I don't see a thread for the release of it and people are saying here that it was pulled back... while it's still on the server? A link to it:
