Hello. I successfully updated my T12-450 for 5.1.145-00012, and I want to continue the update process to TOS6.
My current system is TOS 5.1.145, BIOS/initBoot 5.13
I have 12 HDD disks configured as RAID10 in one storage pool. This pool has 6 volumes. These volumes work as SMB shares.

Unfortunately, I can't do a backup (it's too big). I read the precautions, but I have some questions:
1. Will my information be preserved across all 6 volumes?
2. I'll lose my configuration. Does this include created volumes and created shared folders?

3. What about system settings like NTP client, network ports, etc.?
4. Maybe I miss something. I will be glad for your help.

Thanks!

Hello, under normal circumstances, your data will not be lost after the upgrade, including your storage pools, volumes, and shared folders. Some system settings may need to be reconfigured.

Successfully updated F2-221 from 5.1.145-00320 to 6.0.530-00148 (BIOS version MAPL0304V22). Is it worth to update to the latest version of TOS6?

The latest system has fixed some issues that existed previously. You can upgrade to the latest system version.

Hello, the 'original configuration' here refers to some configurations related to the system. The data you saved in the folder will not be affected. This includes the order of the folders and the content within them.

I asked a similar question in another thread, but now that I found this one, it seems to be a more natural place...
I have a F2-221 with 10GB and running 4.2.44 with the V17 BIOS.
I would like to update to TOS 6 and it seems possible with this config.

Do I follow the instructions like
1. If your TOS version is below TOS 4.2.44, you need to first update to TOS 4.2.44.
2. If your TOS version is TOS 4.2.44, you cannot upgrade to TOS 5.0 via the update method and must install TOS 5.0.
3. If your TOS version is between TOS 5.0.93 and TOS 5.0.176, you need to first update to TOS 5.0.176.
4. If your TOS version is TOS 5.0.176, you need to update to TOS 5.1.24.
5. If your TOS version is between TOS 5.1.24 and TOS 5.1.145, you need to first update to TOS 5.1.145.
6. If your TOS version is between TOS 5.1.145 and TOS 6.0.229, you need to first update to TOS 6.0.530.

Will I lose data since I should be on the 2GB system now? Does it update it to 8GB and still work, or will I lose data? If I'm going to lose data, do I just flash a new initdisk for TOS6 and start fresh and have to re-init my drives and copy info back from external USB?
