Hi,
I have TOS 6.0.436 and I didn't find any solution in this forum about email notification problem.
Did someone solved the problem?
I had also configured Custom SMTP Server with no positive result.
I'm available to give necessary information/logs/connections to TM Team to solve the problem.
Thanks!

I fixed mine. Search for "TLS/SSL" on this forum. My mail service provider provides port 465 for TLS you may have to check with your provider's configuration options. If you use Gmail - tough! - Gmail's default setup blocks machine generated emails. You have to make special arrangements which are detailed somewhere. (I only have backup accounts on Gmail)

Thank you for the additional information. You mentioned at least two other people experiencing issues consistent with what you presented, can you point us to any of the relevant threads?
There may be an unknown reason for the brief rise in CPU usage. We recommend that you continue communicating with your tech support email and schedule a remote troubleshooting appointment.
The error is really consistent. I have 3 disks. Whenever I copy to disk 1, I hit bad transfer speed and 100% CPU rate. Copying to any other disk raises the CPU abnormally, but not to 100%, (maybe 80).
Also, docker and Plex tend to hit 100 usage really easily, just trying to create a stack, where it needs to download the image loads the system so much that it says it failed but minutes after the container is there... MINUTES
Any info you need, ping me.

I had some (big) issues with TOS 6, no solutions found at all and not even identified the cause. Now i'm doing a backup of my data at the speed of 5-10 MB/sec because of high CPU load: it will take weeks, but at the end i will be able to put a working OS inside my F4-424 PRO.
How would you change the OS?

I recommend you to try to copy to other place than the 1st disk, and use cpulimit to avoid the issue. I backup using rsync and cpulimit to 70% and managed to get good transmission speed

Regarding Portainer, at least when you want to deply new stacks, access it directly by typing in your browser http://yournasip:19000 and not via TOS. You should not get anymore the error during stack deplyment

It depends on the OS you wanna use, in my case i had to switch the internal USB with another one. Anyway i've been able to make a backup of my data through SMB and installed unraid: now everything is butter smooth.

Hi,

can I ask why you preferred Unraid over Truenas Scale? Too much memory needed from the latter?

As it was said in the beginning:
2. This update is only applicable to TOS 5.1.145 or later versions.

I misunderstood the version numbering. I'll find 5.1.145. Why is that version not available as the latest update available for TOS5 through the system control panel?
