There is no explicit info about VMs app - is it allowed to use it or not?
Early I've tried to create a VM but it couldn't see any network interface.

VMs app is supported. To enable network services for virtual machines, OVS (Open vSwitch) needs to be enabled for the host machine's network connection. To enable it: Open Control Panel > Network Management Services > Interfaces, click OVS, and then enable it.

Does OVS work on Bonded Lan interfaces? I thought I detected some odd behaviour, but since I don't use vm's I did not pay attention. Does VMS have to exist before OVS is enabled?

OVS can work on bonded LAN interfaces. It can also be enabled even without VMS installed.
